This beautiful ceramic necklace is one of a kind. The ceramic base is ceramic clay that has been hand formed, textured, glazed and fired in our studio kiln. The micro mosaic is also completely handcrafted by melting Italian Smalti glass and then pulling it into long strings of glass that are then cut into tiny pieces and hand placed with tweezers into the base. This is the traditional ancient Italian method of creating micro mosaics.
The pendant hangs from an 18" naturally died premium leather cord necklace that has a sterling silver clasp. The pendant is approximately 1 inches with beads that are hand formed ceramic and Czech glass and has a drop length of 2 1/4 inches.
